The Zoo Med Laboratories Reptisun® 5.0 UVB Compact Fluorescent is a high-quality compact fluorescent lamp designed specifically for tropical species of reptiles and amphibians. With a UVB output of 5.0 and a UVA output of 30%, this lamp provides the necessary UVB radiation to help prevent or reverse Metabolic Bone Disease, while also increasing feeding, mating, and other natural behaviors. The lamp features a full spectrum of light and uses a special UVB transmitting quartz glass for maximum UVB penetration. It can be easily screwed into standard threaded sockets and can be oriented vertically or horizontally in your reptile hood or clamp lamp fixture.
